KIND WORDS
FROM THE READERS
“
"Indian immigrant Suman is a fantastically engaging character from page one, when he sets foot in Victorian-era London—and once he starts matching wits with Sherlock Holmes to find out who murdered Suman’s wealthy benefactor, he becomes unforgettable in THE BOOKKEEPER, Eric Ullerich’s twisty, fast-paced, and sometimes madcap historical homage to the world’s greatest detective."

BIO

Eric Ullerich is a retired attorney living in Ojai, California, where he spends his days reading, cooking, and occasionally engaging in spirited anonymous political debates with strangers on the internet. He is also the proud father of three sons, whom he describes as “the three bestest boys any dad could ever hope for.”
Eric’s short stories have appeared in Los Angeles Review of Los Angeles (Episode 8), Down in the Dirt, The Legendary, Yellow Mama, Page & Spine, Dime Show Review, and The Tower Journal. While his previous work exists outside the Sherlock Holmes canon, his fascination with classic detective fiction and historical worlds informs his approach to reimagining Victorian mysteries through fresh perspectives.
